As of December, 2006, Classic Faults has decided to go on an indefinite hiatus. We would like to thank all of our fans & friends who supported us over our time together. It's been a lot of fun over the past few years, & I hope there will be another project in the near future for all of us. In the meantime, take care. See you again.

So, we finally got a date set for our next show: December 6th. It's a Wednesday night, & we will be part of the Station 4 "Hi-Fi Wednesday" program to get interest other than metal. We will be sharing the bill with the Roger Anderson Trio, Alex Cole, Shaker Revival, & Ekoflo. Should be a blast! Doors open at 6:45 p.m., and we will be taking the stage at 8:00. Admission will be $5, but there's a college special of 2 for $5 with college ID. This show is 18+. Thanks to DEMO and Ozzy Dahlstrom for giving us this opportunity!

New pictures from the second Salida Depot show are posted! Quality is kind of dark & blurry, but there are some really good looking shots there. Might have a short clip of our performance of Bull Fighter to go up later, too. Stay tuned for that.
For those of you that missed out on the show...it was a really good time. We rocked out, ate pizza & drank beer out at the Salida Depot, & left with a fat paycheck & an invite to come rock the place again! Next time, everyone has to come out & see us. Hopefully it will be somewhere a bit cloer to home next time, too.
In other news, Classic Faults is looking to book shows in the Twin Cities area. We are hoping to show at the Nomad & at Club Underground sometime in the near future. Also, Turf Club is not out of the question. Stay tuned for more details!
Work has begun on a few new songs. Hopefully we will have some progress to report soon!

We have another show out at the Salida Depot on Wednesday, August 23rd. It will be Classic Faults, Hotpoint, and a TBD band. Festivities will start at approximately 9:00 p.m., with Classic Faults taking the stage first. Should be a blast & I urge all of you to come down & have a beer with us!
Also, Classic Faults will have exclusive demos of two new songs to give away at the show. So, if you want to hear the new songs, gotta be there at the show. See ya there!

Thanks to everyone that came out last night; it was a total blast! The Depot was a really nice place, & the sound system they had set up was unbelievable! They were getting ready for the band Jackyl to play there, so the setup was really huge. I will be posting some pictures as soon as I get them.

Hey all, sorry for the lack of updates recently! Classic Faults has been back in the studio, tracking our newest songs for a demo. With this demo finished, we should be able to get some shows pretty quickly.
We are still working on the names/lyrics of our new songs, so unfortunately we aren't able to provide you with any more information than that at the moment. Working titles for the songs are "Woo, Yeah!" & "The Plane's Not Falling (The G-Song).
With a little bit of luck we will have those finished & posted soon.

The first new feature has been added to the site: the Classic Faults Forum! Check it out, just remember that you must register to take part in the forum. Try to keep it clean & flame-free in there, if possible. If anyone wants a moderator job on the forum, please let me know.
Oh, one last note...Avatars on the forum are not working yet, & no one seems to know why. It's a puzzle, but hopefully things will be set up soon.

I just received word that the festival we were invited to play, Two-Four Fest, has been cancelled. This is disappointing, but we will see what we can do about getting another date set up to play a show. Stay tuned!

Sorry about the severe lack of updates lately, but things have been pretty hectic over here. Work schedules for two members of the band got increasingly crazy, & finding time to practice has been tough. A little bit of news for all of you, though:
1) Classic Faults has been invited to play a music festival in Wisconsin in late June. If all goes to plan, we would be taking the stage at 10:00 p.m. for an hour-long set. We're pretty excited about this, & hope everything works out with the rest of the festival. If so, we hope to see everyone there. Watch for more details later.
2) We have been working on a few new songs, and have three that are close to completion. However, one of them probably will not be recorded, remaining as a live hit instead. The others are a blues-rock song similar to "Mumble-Jam", and one that was influenced by recent musical trends in Europe (but that's all I'm going to say about it for now...)
3) Hopefully once we get lyrics & structure nailed down on the new songs, we will be able to record them & get them posted for everyone to enjoy. Watch for more updates on this, as well.
4) Working on some updates to the site, which should be ready to go later this week or possibly early next week. Once again, watch for more updates where those are concerned.
That's all the news from us; thanks for stopping by!
